Our harmonies didn’t start that long ago.  We stumbled upon them a few years back while doing chores together around the house.  Singing simply took the monotony out of daily tasks like washing the dishes or doing the laundry.  The idea of creating our own music never really hit, but a few magical moments slowly opened this possibility to us.  One night, we were playing around at the piano trying to sing a song by the Pentatonix.  Each of us was hardly familiar with the tune. Somewhere between deciding who should go low or high and our first attempts to find harmony, we struck a resonance with our voices that seemed too pretty to have come from each of our individual sounds.  It was exciting, and our parents who had been listening from the other room urged us to keep singing.

We got our first microphone in December 2021.  That spring we made harmonies to “You Are the Reason” and posted our first YouTube video.  With no experience, we learned how to arrange three-part harmony and use a camera to record our cover songs.  Everything was homemade, literally held together by Velcro and Scotch tape.  But what started as just music for family and friends soon grew to an audience of over 100,000 subscribers.  We never dreamed our music would be loved by so many, and it’s been incredible to become part of a community that’s connected through the gift of music.

So life together became music.  It became more than just our harmonies.  It encompassed the way we interacted with each other– the way we laughed, argued, and even cleaned the kitchen together.  It seemed as if our relationship deepened our experiences into a rich and vibrant lifestyle.  A life in 3D.  It helps that we all have “D” names.  Welcome to Life in 3D from Daylon, Daura, and Devon.
